Sua Reitoria est\u00e1 instalada em Goi\u00e2nia.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"color: #00b050;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Viner Hand ITC', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>O Instituto Federal de Goi\u00e1s oferece educa\u00e7\u00e3o integrada do ensino m\u00e9dio \u00e0 p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, com \u00eanfase para o ensino t\u00e9cnico integrado ao ensino m\u00e9dio, para os cursos superiores de tecnologia, para as engenharias e tamb\u00e9m para as licenciaturas nas \u00e1reas das ci\u00eancias naturais e das disciplinas t\u00e9cnicas e\/ou profissionalizantes. Apesar de se equipararem \u00e0s universidades federais, ter\u00e3o papel social diferenciado, ficando com a responsabilidade de ofertar pelo menos 50% de suas vagas para o ensino m\u00e9dio profissional e continuam a atuar em modalidades da educa\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens e adultos (Proeja). O Instituto Federal de Goi\u00e1s continua mantendo a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o da Escola T\u00e9cnica Federal de Goi\u00e1s e do Cefet-Goi\u00e1s de oferecer educa\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica, gratuita e de
