Foi criada pela Lei no 14.836, de 20 de julho de 2012, credenciada junto ao Conselho Estadual de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o de S\u00e3o Paulo pela Portaria CEE \u2013 GP no 120\/2013, de 22 de mar\u00e7o de 2013, e credenciada para a oferta de cursos superiores na modalidade a dist\u00e2ncia pela Portaria no 945, de 18de setembro de 2015, do MEC<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>a UNIVESP, o aluno aprende de forma ativa. E isso acontece tanto em momentos on-line como em encontros presenciais, nos chamados polos.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Grande parte do curso \u00e9 realizado em\u00a0 Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem (AVA). Trata-se de uma plataforma on-line na qual os estudantes desenvolvem atividades acad\u00eamicas que incluem assistir a videoaulas, acessar material did\u00e1tico e bibliografia das disciplinas e tirar d\u00favidas do conte\u00fado com tutores.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>J\u00e1 os polos s\u00e3o espa\u00e7os f\u00edsicos onde os alunos contam com infraestrutura (computadores, impressoras e acesso \u00e0 internet) e realizam atividades como provas, discuss\u00f5es em grupo, trabalhos orientados por tutores.
