Fica localizado na\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Urca\">Urca<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bairro\">bairro<\/a>\u00a0da Zona Sul carioca, mais precisamente na\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Praia_Vermelha_(Rio_de_Janeiro)\">Praia Vermelha<\/a>, ao lado da esta\u00e7\u00e3o do\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bondinho_do_P%C3%A3o_de_A%C3%A7%C3%BAcar\">Bondinho do P\u00e3o de A\u00e7\u00facar<\/a>.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>vestibular do IME \u00e9 considerado um dos mais exigentes do pa\u00eds, tanto por causa da rela\u00e7\u00e3o candidato-vaga, quanto pelo n\u00edvel de dificuldade das provas. A sele\u00e7\u00e3o dos candidatos \u00e9 rigorosa, pois os alunos do IME s\u00e3o exigidos ao m\u00e1ximo, tanto no aspecto intelectual, quanto no condicionamento f\u00edsico.\u00a0O\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Instituto_Tecnol%C3%B3gico_de_Aeron%C3%A1utica\">Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Aeron\u00e1utica<\/a>,\u00a0que nasceu no IME, \u00e9 uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o com igual n\u00edvel de exig\u00eancia em seu processo seletivo e na condu\u00e7\u00e3o de seus cursos.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>IME tem a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o de possuir um dos\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vestibular\">vestibulares<\/a>\u00a0mais dif\u00edceis do pa\u00eds, com quest\u00f5es abrangentes e que testam a fundo o conhecimento dos candidatos sobre os assuntos abordados.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Esta etapa do processo de sele\u00e7\u00e3o geralmente conta com 5 dias de provas, sendo realizada no 1\u00b0 dia uma prova de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M%C3%BAltipla_escolha\">m\u00faltipla escolha<\/a>\u00a0contendo 40 quest\u00f5es (15 de Matem\u00e1tica, 15 de F\u00edsica e 10 de Qu\u00edmica) com 5 itens cada. Essa prova tem car\u00e1ter somente eliminat\u00f3rio, e os acertos do candidato nessa fase n\u00e3o contam para sua classifica\u00e7\u00e3o final no concurso. Nos dias que se seguem, s\u00e3o realizadas, na ordem: provas de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Matem%C3%A1tica\">Matem\u00e1tica<\/a>\u00a0(2\u00b0 dia),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/F%C3%ADsica\">F\u00edsica<\/a>\u00a0(3\u00b0 dia) e\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Qu%C3%ADmica\">Qu\u00edmica<\/a>\u00a0(4\u00b0 dia), contendo cada prova 10 quest\u00f5es discursivas. No \u00faltimo dia s\u00e3o realizadas as provas de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/L%C3%ADngua_portuguesa\">Portugu\u00eas<\/a>\u00a0e\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/L%C3%ADngua_inglesa\">Ingl\u00eas<\/a>.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"color:
