O projeto de expans\u00e3o da Rede Federal foi iniciado Instituto Federal de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia Fluminense \u00e9 um dos 38 criados, em dezembro de 2008, pelo Governo Federal em 2005.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>O IFFluminense nasce voltado para o mundo do trabalho com a responsabilidade de contribuir para o desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico das regi\u00f5es onde est\u00e1 instalado.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>S\u00e3o 13\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><i><b>campi<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>: Campos Centro, Campos Guarus, S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o da Barra, Rio Para\u00edba do Sul\/Upea, Maca\u00e9 e Quissam\u00e3, no Norte do Estado do Rio de Janeiro; Itaperuna, Bom Jesus do Itabapoana, Cambuci e Santo Ant\u00f4nio de P\u00e1dua, no Noroeste Fluminense; Cabo Frio na Regi\u00e3o dos Lagos; e os\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><i><b>campi\u00a0<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Itabora\u00ed e Maric\u00e1, na Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>A oferta de cursos leva em considera\u00e7\u00e3o o arranjo produtivo local com o intuito de garantir a perman\u00eancia dos estudantes em suas pr\u00f3prias regi\u00f5es. Vinte por cento das vagas s\u00e3o destinadas \u00e0 forma\u00e7\u00e3o de professores de qu\u00edmica, f\u00edsica, biologia e matem\u00e1tica, j\u00e1 que a inten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 diminuir o d\u00e9ficit nacional de professores nas \u00e1reas. Al\u00e9m disso, metade das vagas \u00e9 reservada para cursos de ensino m\u00e9dio integrado \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o profissional. Os 30% restantes v\u00e3o para cursos de n\u00edvel superior nas \u00e1reas de tecnologia.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #4f6228;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Atualmente, o IFFluminense atua nos tr\u00eas n\u00edveis da forma\u00e7\u00e3o profissional. Trabalhando na educa\u00e7\u00e3o inicial e continuada de trabalhadores, oferece cursos t\u00e9cnicos e cursos superiores de tecnologia, ensino m\u00e9dio, educa\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens e adultos,
