Sua regi\u00e3o de abrang\u00eancia \u00e9 de 50 munic\u00edpios totalizando aproximadamente 1 milh\u00e3o de habitantes.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\"><span style=\"font-family: Viner Hand ITC,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>O Inep (Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais An\u00edsio Teixeira), vinculado ao Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, divulgou nova vers\u00e3o dos IGC (\u00d6ndices Gerais de Cursos das Institui\u00e7\u00f5es), para todas as universidades, centros universit\u00e1rios e faculdades do Pa\u00eds. Pela tabela, tornada p\u00fablica ontem (31\/08), a Unicentro (Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste) aparece em 13. lugar, em um universo 157 institui\u00e7\u00f5es paranaenses. O IGC \u00e9 um indicador de qualidade da educa\u00e7\u00e3o superior que considera, em sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o, a qualidade dos cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o (mestrado e doutorado).
